Ireland has a long history of supporting the underdog even though for much of our own history we have been on the receiving end of the imperialist jackboot.
This is not about politics, or the relative merits or demerits of Hamas or the PA;-
- it is about 1.8 million people squeezed into an outdoor concentration camp.
- it is about children murdered in their beds
- it is about an illegal blockade
- it is about illegal settlements
- it is about a total disregard for UN resolutions
- it is about one law for israelis and another for Palestinians
- it is about child arrests and torture
- it is about justice for the Palestinians
